С октября 2017 года все владельцы квадрокоптеров и других беспилотных летательных аппаратов (дронов) обязаны регистрировать свои устройства в Национальной комиссия по теле- и радиовещанию Таиланда (NBTC). В случае нарушения предписания, закон Таиланда предусматривает наказание – до пяти лет тюрьмы и/или штраф в размере до 100 тысяч бат (около 3 тысяч долларов США).
